The Problem
Portal is a web-based electronic medical records software service using the same terminology content as IMO® Problem. The portal provides search results employing best practice searching algorithms IMO has refined over thousands of queries. Search results are returned in XML or JSON formats that are easily consumable by your application, or even through a web browser as seen in this example. This web service is accessible on IMO's server or can be hosted on your server.
What you are looking at
The sample on the right is a full implementation of the
ProblemPortal using a simple browser interface so you can test it.
How to test it
The best way to understand how this electronic medical records software service works is to use it! A fast way to try it out is to put in a simple search term. You don't need to spell out the words, just put in the first few letters of each. For example:
- For 'chest pain' enter 'che pai' and press Enter
- Try '250.0' and press Enter to do an ICD9 search
- For 'knee pain' enter 'kne pai' and press Enter (try to find that in your ICD9 lookup!)
