Presentation Descriptions
Bob Dolin, MD, FACP
IMO® Procedure (IT) contains a powerful master index allowing clinicians and coders to find the procedure terms they need quickly and easily. This offering also includes revision information (back to 1995), a hierarchical classification structure, help notes, fee schedules, and National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) information. In this presentation, you will learn how IMO's innovative Procedure (IT) can improve patient safety, improve charge capture and support your Meaningful Use initiatives.
Chip Masarie, MD, FACMI and Eric Rose, MD, FAAFP
IMO's Problem IT 2012 Regulatory 1.3 release includes full support for the 2012 version of ICD-10-CM. This release was published in December 2011 by National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS) and this 2012 ICD-10-CM update includes 706 new codes and 732 code changes. IMO's advanced knowledge and taxonomy software was used to complete the integration of this new content within a month of its publication. IMO® customers and partners had the Problem IT R1.3 release January 3rd, 2012. Learn more about these new changes and how IMO® can help your implementation.
Chip Masarie, MD, FACMI
For Healthcare Institutions, IMO's Vocabulary products provide a common linkage across all electronic patient records, regardless of the standard needed for that particular data set (ICD-10-CM, ICD-9-COM, SNOMET® CT, HCPCS, RxNorm). Most code mappings are updated several times per year, including regulatory updates. IMO® removed the burden of managing these updates for you. For EMR and EHR vendors, IMO® will furnish up-to-date code and terminology mappings with expanded search capabilities, so you can focus on what you do best - providing great software to the healthcare industry.
Regis Charlot, MS
IMO® Portal Services are web-based services that can be hosted on either IMO® servers or on your servers. The portal leverages the same IMO® Problem (IT) database, IMO® Procedure ICDP database and the IMO® Procedure (IT) Chargemaster database but provides search results that employ best-practice search algorithms that IMO® has refined over thousands of queries. Search results are returned in XML or JSON formats that are easily consumable by your application.
