Frank Naeymi-Rad, MBA, PhD

CEO and Chairman of the Board
Dr. Naeymi-Rad is Chief Executive Officer, Chairman of the Board and co-founder of Intelligent Medical Objects, Inc. He was also co-founder of Intelligent Medical Systems, Inc., which was sold to Glaxo in 1994, in addition to his expertise in electronic medical records and other entrepreneurial ventures. He has been nominated for special recognition by the Oracle Corporation Smithsonian Award in the category of Medicine. Dr. Naeymi-Rad is a member of numerous professional organizations, as well as author and co-author of numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field of Medical Informatics. His degrees are from Southern Illinois University and the Illinois Institute of Technology, the latter a Ph.D. in Computer Science. His thesis work focused on medical vocabulary to support Data Base Translation, Information Retrieval, Intelligent Medical Records, and Expert Systems.

David Alvin, MS

Director of Portal Sales
David Alvin came to IMO from InstallShield/Macrovision where he was VP of Professional Services, responsible for a $3.5M revenue target while managing 23 consultants and trainers. He has worked with many Fortune 500 companies, including Citigroup, Wyeth Pharmaceutical, and Exxon/Mobil, as well as smaller organizations such as Sutter Health and Aurora Healthcare. He has focused on guiding and assisting these companies with enterprise-wise desktop application management, including processes for installation and deployment of software to upwards of 300,000 seats. His degrees are from Southern Illinois University.

Regis Charlot, MS

EVP / Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Charlot is IMO®'s Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. He has worked with some of the major healthcare organizations in the Chicago area and was part of the initial software engineering team at Intelligent Medical Objects. His graduate degrees are from the University of Angers, France, and Loyola University of Chicago.

Diane Donahue, MBA

Controller
Mrs. Donahue has been IMO's Controller since the company's inception. She is also responsible for all HR and facilities matters at the company. Her degrees are from Marquette University and the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Dan Dunn

Director of Sales
Mr. Dunn is responsible for all of the company's product and product-related sales, both direct and indirect. He came to IMO from the Tribune Company where he was Director, National Advertising, for the Chicago Tribune, responsible for $140 million in revenue. Before the Chicago Tribune he was with Business Week. Mr. Dunn graduated from the University of Illinois.

John Ennis III

Director, Business Development and Channel Sales
Mr. Ennis has led IMO's business development efforts since 2003. Prior to that time he worked for software development and technology services companies including Business Objects and Greenbrier & Russel where he concentrated on business intelligence and the healthcare industry. Early in his career he worked in the financial and capital markets industries, specializing in risk management.

David Haines, MBA

Chief Information Officer
Mr. Haines has been with Intelligent Medical Objects since 1994, holding a variety of client-facing and internal technology and management roles. He is currently responsible for the company's hosting business and its iHealth Search, iHL7, and associated products. His degrees are from Lake Forest College and the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.

Jose Maldonado

Product Management
Mr. Maldonado has led the development of several of IMO's core technology products and overseen the development team in several of its largest consulting projects. He is currently the Product Manager for IMO's Clinical Interface Terminologies. He graduated from Lake Forest College.

Chip Masarie, MD

Chief Terminologist
Dr. Fred E. "Chip" Masarie, Jr. has been active in medical informatics for the past 25 years and leads IMO's terminology architecture, processes, and editorial vision. He brings a pragmatic approach to a complex area. Before joining IMO, he has been helping companies define and implement a terminology strategy. Prior to that, he was the Enterprise Terminology Management Architect with GE Medical Systems IT. In this role, he developed a terminology management strategy which included bringing a point-of-care perspective to the GEMS-IT enterprise systems initiative. He spent many years designing and building terminology and clinical content solutions in his role as Clinical Development Leader at Medicalogic. Dr. Masarie also built clinical decision support software (co-developed Quick Medical Reference) and was Chief Scientist at First DataBank, where he was also instrumental in the "physicianization" of their knowledge bases. Dr. Masarie is a Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics.

Mark Partridge, JD

General Counsel
Mr. Partridge has nearly 30 years of experience handling litigation, transactions and intellectual property matters for a wide range of clients, including major corporations such as Abbott Laboratories, Sun Microsystems, Nabisco and MasterCard, as well as entrepreneurs and business owners in various fields of technology. He has represented IMO since 1994. The author of many articles and three books on intellectual property protection, he is a graduate of Harvard Law School, an adjunct law professor of trademark law, litigation and transactions at John Marshall Law School, and a fellow and former director of the American Intellectual Property Law Association. He also continues in private practice as the founder of Partridge IP Law PC (http://www.partridgeiplaw.com), an independent law firm with a global practice involving trademarks, copyright and the Internet.

Amy Wang, MD

Acting Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Amy Y. Wang strengthens IMO's clinical team with her experience in EHRs and clinical vocabularies. Dr. Wang was previously a clinical developer for Greenway Medical Technologies, where she worked directly with medical practices on the implementation, training, user support, and content and terminology development of their EHR system. She also was a clinical advisor on EHR implementation for Volunteers in Medicine - Clinic of the Cascades, a volunteer community health center in rural Oregon. As a clinical editor at the College of American Pathologists, Dr. Wang worked on the design and development of SNOMED CT®. She has also published about the SNOMED CT® development process and issues in the use of clinical vocabularies.

Melinda Watman, MSN, CNM, MBA

VP of Strategic Business Relationships
Melinda Watman brings both clinical and strategic business leadership to IMO. After practicing in the OB/GYN field for over 15 years, she turned her focus to the healthcare information technology field and its potential to transform care delivery. Since then, she has played a significant role in bringing new products to market and leading strategic planning initiatives for both startup and large, publicly traded companies. Ms. Watman comes to IMO from Allscripts Healthcare Systems, where she managed several third-party relationships including the launch of the new-to-market patient kiosk solution. While at Eclipsys Corporation, she developed a $45-million recurring revenue stream within three years of a new product launch.
