Inside Sales Specialist

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will be marketing IMO solutions to one of our vendors, NextGen.

The primary promotional effort will be to migrating current NextGen customers from IMO’s Problem IT product to IMO’s Problem IT Plus product and to move non-users using to Problem IT Plus directly or in collaboration with value-added Referral Programs.

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will report directly to a member of the sales and marketing team. However, the position is in the IMO’s Technical Services & Integration team comprised of Integration Development and Integration Services that supports current customers within the NextGen channel. Integration Services is comprised of Services Groups, led by Integration Services Manager.

By collaborating with the technical services and integration team, the Inside Sales Specialist will develop their knowledge of IMO products and services to advance personal capabilities and responsibilities for career progression into other roles within IMO.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Marketing and sales of IMO solutions to NextGen target customers (Problem IT Plus)
  • Onboarding of new customers using established standard operating procedures
  • Coordination with Associate Director, NextGen Channel Partnerships
  • Support of existing customers can include:
  • Teleconference meetings to resolve issues reported by the customer
  • Dedicated “on-call” support where required
  • Communicate best practices for each IMO product or solution
  • Ability to clearly articulate new workflow and customization requests from vendor partners and organizations
  • Collaboration with team members to improve new and existing IMO integrated solutions
  • Provide technical support for Sales and Account Management teams when required
  • Monitor customer activity against IMO-hosted solutions

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Bachelors’ degree
  • Inside sales experience
  • Strong computer skills
  • Experience in health information technology a plus
  • Customer support or teaching background experience a plus

  • Various IMO teams including Sales, Account Management, Customer Support, Knowledge, and Software Engineering

Physical Job Requirements

  • Required to be onsite in Northbrook, IL office
  • Involves significant time in front of computer as well as in meetings (in-person, phone, and web conference)
  • Occasional travel
