Marketing Associate

The Marketing Associate provides professional marketing support to the sales and marketing team for marketing programs, meetings, events, webinars, conferences, channel partner meetings, client support and special programs as required.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and maintain schedules for marketing meetings, webinars and other presentations
  • Act as coordinator for online events, introducing presenters and monitoring incoming comments and questions for moderators
  • Plan meeting schedules in Outlook to ensure attendance by key participants
  • Plan webinars, schedule presenters and send invitations to participants
  • Plan meetings and webinars for the IMO Physician Advisory Board, and vendor-partner PAB’s as needed
  • Assist executive and sales team members with travel arrangements for tradeshows
  • Ship and materials to tradeshows, monitor tracking, confirm arrival
  • Other projects or assignments as required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role in a marketing, sales, client support, advertising agency, event planning or tradeshow environment
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in managing webinars and group presentations.
  • Baccalaureate Degree in a related area of study or an equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Proficiently with programs such as GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar and/or WebEx
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio
  • Proficiency with CRM systems
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Technology preferred

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements of the Job

  • Office environment
  • Computer work, including transporting laptops to internal meetings
  • Some lifting of exhibit materials and sales materials; less than 50 lbs.
  • Occasional travel to tradeshows and events, including weekends and holidays, may be required
