Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will work in close collaboration with internal stakeholders to create a cohesive marketing strategy that is designed to land new business, expand existing business, protect the current client base and optimize current products/services. This includes helping to establish the marketing budget, managing to that budget, providing input into the marketing calendar, being available as a subject matter expert and other related duties.

The Manager will develop, implement and execute on sales and marketing plans for designated product groups and market segments through research, collaboration with product and sales teams, and communication with vendor partner marketing teams.

He/She will create and manage programs for advertising, promotion, events, webinars, partner meetings, sales support materials and digital marketing assets.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sales Enablement. Ensuring the Sales Teams have the knowledge of the target market, market conditions, product/service messaging and competitive differentiators to optimize every interaction with prospects and customers for select service lines
  • Strategic Partnerships and Tradeshow Presence. Be a recognized industry subject matter expert by building relationships with influencers in the market, strategic messaging and leadership proof points improving IMO’s healthcare market position, competitive advantage and business results
  • Portfolio Management. Collaborating with Sales, Product and Operations to continuously assess the viability and profitability of the products and services offered
  • Voice of the Customer. Engaging with prospects and customers during sales cycles, industry events including tradeshows and conferences, focus groups and user conferences to understand buyer goals, validate messaging and provide feedback to the business on buyer needs.
  • Research Conduct and analyze market research data to develop effective marketing strategies
  • Marketing and Campaign Plans. Develop comprehensive marketing plans to achieve company objectives; develop traditional and digital campaign plans for assigned product groups and market segments.
  • Tradeshows and Conferences. Select conferences to attend, footprint and promotional activities; plan and direct the content and secure presenters for events and webinars.  Marketing Communications: Plan and direct the creation of marketing materials, sales tools and demo assets
  • Plan and maintain schedules for digital marketing campaigns
  • Monitor and report on web activities, analytics, and lead generation campaigns
  • Select marketing tactics and elements required to meet sales objectives
  • Write copy and direct creative production for online materials
  • Other projects or assignments as required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Six or more years of marketing experience including building, planning and executing go-to-market plans.
  • Baccalaureate Degree in marketing or a related area of study or an equivalent combination of experience and training
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Visio
  • Proficiency with Illustrator and Photoshop Software (Adobe Suite)
  • Proficiently with programs such as GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar and/or WebEx
  • Proficiency with CRM systems
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Technology and Terminology preferred

  • Office environment
  • Computer work, including transporting laptops to internal meetings
  • Some lifting of exhibit materials and sales materials; less than 50 lbs.
  • Periodic travel to tradeshows and events, including weekends and holidays, may be required
