Regional Sales Manager - Southeast

The Regional Sales Manager role will be primarily client facing and work to drive new sales, along with other initiatives that may fall into purview. 50 to 60 % travel will be expected and the operative will be responsible to manage a full territory and work in conjunction with Division leader as well as Account Management team to generate new revenues within the territory.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work territory for new sales/revenue for designated products assigned to role
  • Held accountable to meet and exceed sales goals allotted by leadership
  • Work closely with counterparts on inside to maximize ability to close business
  • Work closely with Account Management to transition clients seamlessly
  • Look for new potential use cases/product offerings for IMO
  • Learn and understand product offerings, use cases, industry trends, company relationships
  • Participate in User Group Meetings and tradeshows as required.
  • Managing data and sales process in CRM (from leads/projections to close/maintenance)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

  • Undergraduate degree in Business or related field
  • At least 3 years outside sales experience required
  • Healthcare IT experience a strong plus
  • Knowledge of sales to hospitals a strong plus
  • EHR knowledge – either as a user or on the technical side
  • History of developing and fostering client relationships
  • Proven success at exceeding sales targets
  • Strong aptitude in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Solid references

  • Maintain an awareness and understanding of changes in the healthcare industry

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements of the Job

  • Opportunity to work from home (may work in Northbrook, Illinois office)
  • Travel essential (approximately 50-60%)
  • Required meetings with leadership and tradeshows (including some weekends)
