IMO 2.0 Enhanced Terminology Platform (ETP) is a suite of solutions that saves resource time for organizations with automatic content updates, provides quarterly dictionary refreshes to ensure appropriate mappings, and easily identifies Clinical Quality Measure (CQM) code coverage gaps so you can quickly address terms at the dictionary level to enable accurate MU/MACRA reporting. Take control of your dictionary maintenance with IMO 2.0 ETP.

Managing EHR Problem Lists for Effective Patient Care

As clinical, reporting, and interoperability use cases become more complex, the reliance on effective Problem Lists as a “source of truth” becomes even greater. Yet despite that, all too often Problem Lists are poorly maintained, with numerous erroneous entries, duplicate content, or expired and inaccurate data. This leads to not only unreliable information in the Problem List, but workflow challenges for physicians when trying to identify clinical relevance for a patient encounter, leading to potential patient safety risks, physician frustration, and inefficient care. Effective change management and stewardship principles, along with the right tools and features (for both data management and communication across caregivers), is essential to keeping a Problem List up-to-date. This session will discuss the pros and cons of various workflows and features/functionalities that can enable effective Problem List management, thereby improving patient care, workflow efficiency, and physician satisfaction. We’ll also highlight new functionality on the horizon.
