This Privacy Policy describes how IMO protects the privacy and security of the personal and non-personal information that we obtain from users of our web site (the "Site") and users of our products and services (the “Applications”).

IMO adopted this Privacy Policy to further the relationship between IMO and its customers. This Privacy Policy, along with any other underlying agreements or terms that you are party to, set out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.   • through mobile and desktop applications you download from this Site;
  • through your access of our Applications;
  • when you interact with our advertising and applications on third-party websites and ser-vices, if those applications or advertising include links to this Policy.

By using the Site and/or our Applications, you consent to the use of information that you provide us in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We do update this Privacy Policy from time to time so please review this Privacy Policy regularly. If we materially alter our Privacy Policy, we will notify you of such changes by contacting you through your user account e-mail address and/or by posting a notice on the Site.

By accessing and using the Site or our Applications, you agree that you have read and understand this Privacy Policy and that you accept and consent to the practices and uses or disclosures of information about you that are described herein.


We collect personal and non-personal information when you provide it to us in the course of using the Site your name and email address;

  1. your address and phone number and your payment method;
  2. communications by you to us regarding the Site or any of our services or products;
  3. records and copies of your correspondence if you contact us; and
  4. your responses to surveys that we might ask you to complete for research purposes.

You may also provide information to be published or displayed (“posted”) on public or membership areas of the Site, or transmitted to other uses of the Site or third parties (collectively, “User Contributions”). Your User Contributions are posted on and transmitted to others at your own risk. Although we limit access to certain pages, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable. Additionally, we cannot control the actions of other users of the Site with whom you may choose to share your User Contributions. Therefore, we cannot and do not guarantee that your User Contributions will not be viewed by unauthorized persons.

We automatically collect information regarding you and your use of the Site and Applications, including:

  1. details of your visits to the Site and the resources you access, including, but not limited to, your Internet protocol (IP) address, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, the date and time you accessed or left the Site, term searches and other use of the Site;
  2. details regarding your interactions with customer service, such as the date, time and reason for contacting us, transcripts of chat conversations, and if you call us, your phone number; and
  3. information collected via the use of cookies (described below) and other technologies.

We may use analytic and reporting technologies to record non-personal information such as Internet domain and host names, IP addresses, browser software, operating system types, click patterns, term searches and search results, and the dates and times that the Site is accessed by you. We may contract with third parties to help us manage, monitor and optimize the Site and measure the effectiveness of our communications and use of the Site. We may use cookies for this purpose (see the section titled “Our Use of Cookies” below). By submitting a telephone number to us, you agree that a representative of IMO can contact you at the number you provide, potentially using automated technology (including texts/SMS messaging) or a pre-recorded message. Your consent is not an obligation to receive any of our services.


The information that we collect and store relating to you is primarily used to enable us to provide our services to you in the best possible manner. In addition, we may use the information for the following purposes:

  1. to communicate and provide you with information relating to our Applications (for example email notices regarding subscription renewals) and to offer you additional Applications;
  2. to provide third parties with statistical information about the users of our Site and Applica-tions;
  3. to monitor and conduct an analysis of our Site traffic and usage patterns;
  4. to carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection;
  5. to analyze trends and to improve our service; and
  6. in any other way we may describe when you provide the information.


We may disclose your personal information to any affiliated business entities or third parties necessary to provide Applications to you. This includes, where applicable, our subsidiaries, holding company and its other subsidiaries (if any), as well as third parties involved in the administration and operation of our Applications. We may also disclose your personal information to other third parties, such as:

  1. to protect or enforce our legal rights and policies, to protect or enforce the legal rights of a third party, or as we in good faith believe we are required to do so by law (such as to comply with a subpoena or court order, for example);
  2. when we are contractually obligated to disclose it;
  3. where we sell any or all of our business and/or our assets to a third party; or
  4. for any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.

We may contract with various third parties who help us provide, maintain and improve the Site and such third parties may have access to your personal information in order to perform their services. For example, we may subcontract out production, fulfillment, analytics, reporting or other operations.


We may disclose non-personal information, in aggregate form, your geographical information such as city and zip code, or term search data to potential strategic partners, advertisers, investors, customers, and others, including developing information, statistics, compilations, summaries, surveys, abstracts, analytics, or combinations with or matches against other data, for use by such third parties, whether or not for financial gain.


A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. We use cookies to remember certain user information. This allows users of the Site to avoid logging in more than once, thereby saving time. All computers have the ability to decline cookies. You may, at any time, disable or refuse to accept cookies by changing the preferences or settings on your web browser. If you choose to disable cookies, you will still be able to use the Site. However, you will not be able to fully take advantage of certain automation and other functionality features available in the Site.


We consider protecting the security of your personal information as very important. When you enter personal information into the Site, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (sometimes referred to as “SSL”).

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we do not guarantee absolute security. We are not responsible for the unauthorized acts of others and we assume no liability for any disclosure of information due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third party access (such as through hacking) or other acts of third parties, or acts or omissions beyond our reasonable control.


When you submit personal information to the Site, you may receive materials regarding IMO’s Applications by mail or e-mail. You may opt out of receiving these materials by visiting IMO’s Contact Us page and filling in your details.


You can always contact us to: (i) delete your personal information from our systems; (ii) update the personal information that you have provided to us; and (iii) change your preferences with respect to receiving information regarding our Applications.


By using the Site, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age or older. We are not liable for any damages that may result from a user’s misrepresentation of age.

The Site and our Applications are intended for health care providers and others in the healthcare field. Therefore, it is unlikely that children under the age of 18 will use the Site. Accordingly, we will not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children that we know to be under the age of 18. In addition, we will delete any information in our database that we know originates from a child under the age of 18. If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you, your parent, or your legal guardian may request that we deactivate any of your personal information in our database and/or opt-out from receiving communications from us. No one under age 13 is authorized to submit or post any information, including personally identifying information, on our Site. Under no circumstances may anyone under age 13 use our Site. Parents or legal guardians of children under 13 cannot agree to this Policy on their behalf.
