Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel
Ms. Tart joined IMO in 2014 after 18 years of experience in private practice counseling technology start up and high growth companies from inception through exit, whether through a sale or initial public offering. Ms. Tart has represented IMO in various capacities since 1998.
Prior to joining IMO, Ms. Tart was a partner at Wyrick Robbins Yates & Ponton LLP in the capital markets practice group where she represented public and private companies, as buyers and sellers, in numerous acquisitions and other strategic transactions as well as various private companies and venture capital funds in equity financings raising more than $400 million.
She earned her JD from Wake Forest University, where she was a member of the Law Review, and she earned her BA in English, with a minor in Business Administration, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she was a member of the Honors Program.
